Rax & Dollies opened its doors in 2009, co-founded by Graeme & Kathi Mc Pherson. Between them, they have nearly a quarter of a century of experience in the shop fittings and visual merchandising industry covering every area of the business from customer service and sales to warehousing, marketing and management. Graeme Mc Pherson is Rax & Dollies Managing Director. Prior to co-founding Rax & Dollies, Graeme served as General Manager for one of the leading nationwide brands of the shop fitting and visual merchandising industry.
Kathi Mc Pherson is Rax & Dollies Sales & Marketing Director. Prior to co-founding Rax & Dollies, Kathi was one of the shop fittings industry's most trusted corporate sales executives, with some of Australia's largest and successful retailers amongst her clientele.
Graeme & Kathi have worked closely together over the last number of years, advising and servicing many of Australia's best large retailers, as well as travelling to many leading overseas factories and tradeshows and visual merchandising events in China, Europe and America.

For the person overseeing the opening of a new store for a large retail chain, last minute changes and problems are part of the territory. And sometimes events just seem to conspire against you! Freight companies are notorious for causing some of those last minutes headaches. Just a few weeks back now, a routine despatch from Sydney to Melbourne snowballed into problems with the delivery at the new shopping centre. Faced with opening a new store to the public on Monday, our customer called us early one Saturday morning still without their shop full of fittings. We jumped on the phone to the Melbourne freight depot on the customers behalf, and managed to 1. track down the errant delivery, and 2, have it delivered within the hour. With Rax & Dollies, take it for granted, if you are on call, we are on call for you.
Freight story #2 .......When a freight company seriously mismanaged a large delivery of mannequins to one of Kathi's clients, we didn't just blame the freight company - we took the clients interests to heart. The client was opening a new store at Pacific Fair on the Gold Coast the next morning but their mannequins were stuck in a freight depot in Sydney. After half a day trying to get the freight company to fix their error, we were left with the prospect of breaking some bad news to the client. Or at least that's what other companies would have done.... That afternoon we loaded up a ute full of mannequins, and drove all night from Sydney to get the mannequins to the Gold Coast in time for the store opening. Arriving at around 6am, we didn't stop there - we then helped the staff assemble the mannequins in time for the stores official Grand Opening. We take our committments to our clients seriously, and while we really hope we won't have to do things like that too often, we will always do everything we can to make sure you get what you need and what we've promised, when you need it!
